They provide a succinct summary of the recent and relevant books and articles on the topic for those who don't have time to read all of this information on their own time. Burroughs and Ankerberg also offer a balanced Christian viewpoint on the situation in the Middle East and help readers understand what the Bible says about the outcome of the conflict. The authors attempt to give a Christian perspective on this crisis by explaining the history, the current issues, and how it all relates to a Pre-Trib, Pre-mill prophetic perspective. Though it is an informative read, it was not as objective as it might have been and not quite as informative. However, it is helpful to an extent. ***
