A soundtrack that can't stand on it's own. Apr 8, 2010
Sure, this soundtrack sound great in the movies, but when you buy it and listen to it on it's own, it doesn't have the same feel and emotion, which I think is the mark of a great soundtrack. In my opinion, I don't think it's worth it.

First of all I purchased this album two years ago, and when I listened to it I was very disapointed. Only a few songs are worth listening to, and those you could buy separately instead of purchasing the whole album. The Battle Song is basically a repeat of the first movie score. Most of the other songs are sprinkled here and there with new compositions; but overall they are washed in a playback of the old Narnia score. If I wanted the old Narnia music I could have just listened to the first movie soundtrack, which is ten times better than this. There are some tolerable songs here, just don't buy the whole album. You'll waste your money.

I LOVE this music! It is almost better than the first one (The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe). We received the item in a timely manner, just as promised. It arrived in excellent condition and we have listened to it quite a bit and really enjoy it. I would order from this company again.
Great soundtrack but why can't we get all of it? Aug 23, 2009
I love the soundtrack and the orchestration is fantastic. I also enjoy the Switchfoot and Regina Specktor songs, but there are two more by each of them at the end. I will have to wait to listen to the entire disk, but it never fails that some orchestration will be missing. When I buy a soundtrack it is usually for the orchestration, and the tunes are a great bonus. I wish there was a way to get all of it! The Switchfoot song is perfect for the whole theme of the movie about the many different ways people are going home throughout the movie, and how that takes on different meanings for the main characters. Very inpiring!
